Sveinspróf voru haldin í Fjölbrautarskólanum í Breiðholti dagana 14-17. mars 2024 og voru próftakar níu. Þann 23.4.24 var svo sveinsbréfaafhending á vegum Iðunnar fræðsluseturs. Tæplega 100 nýsveinar í 8 iðngreinun fengu sveinsbréfin sín afhent við hátíðlega athöfn á á Hilton Reykjavík. Iðngreinarnar voru eftirfarandi: snyrtifræði, hársnyrtiiðn, rennismíði, vélvirkjun, bókband, prentun, bílamálun og bifvélavirkjun. Þess má geta að þetta er í fyrsta sinn í sjö ár sem nemi útskrifast í prentun.
Í snyrtifræði útskrifuðust níu nýsveinar. Kristrún Gunnarsdóttir formaður sveinsprófsnefndar afhenti nýsveinunum sveinsbréfin sín. Þrír nýsveinar í snyrtifræði fengu viðurkenningu fyrir hæstu einkunn á sveinprófi og var það Rebekka Einarsdóttir formaður FÍSF sem afhenti viðurkennigu sem var árs aðild að FÍSF. Við óskum snyrtifræðingunum innilega til hamingju með sveinsprófið og glæsilegan árangur og óskum þeim velfarnaðar og tökum vel á móti þeim í fagið okkar.
